Now you can download Netflix shows on Android phone’s SD card
If you love to binge-watch Netflix Movies and TV shows on your mobile phone, there is great news for you. The media streaming service provider has introduced a new feature in its latest update for the Android operating system. The new feature will allow you to directly download Netflix shows on Android phone’s SD card so that you can view them later.
Netflix announced this exciting news on social media network Twitter yesterday in a tweet post. Here’s what the tweet read:

From now on, when you want to save a movie or TV show for offline viewing, you’ll be asked whether you want to save them on your device or on the SD card.
Apart from this, the newest version of the app comes with a Download location setting. From here you can easily toggle between SD card storage and internal storage. All you need to do is to:
- Tap the menu button
- Scroll down until you find the App settings and tap on it
- Here, you’ll see the Download Location Just tap on it
From here, you can easily change the download location.
Netflix had launched the offline viewing feature two months back, but saving Netflix videos on Android phones wasn’t that easy. These videos were in HD format and often consumed a lot of memory space. The latest update has efficiently resolved the issue and memory storage is no longer a major problem. You can save more Netflix movies on Android for offline viewing.
However, the Netflix update comes with many restrictions. A Netflix member can download a limited number on shows on his/her mobile. Also, there is a limit on how long the downloaded videos will remain accessible on your device. Apart from this, you can’t share the downloaded videos with other people.
Anyways, the update is available on the Google Play Store. You can update the Netflix for Android app to the latest version and download Netflix shows on Android phone’s SD card.
