Facebook rolls out personalized Friends Day Videos to celebrate its 13th birthday

Just like the previous year, Facebook is celebrating its 13th birthday with ‘Friends Day’ videos. To make this birthday occasion memorable, the social media giant has come up with a unique way to depict your beautiful moments in a video. Technically, Friendship Day in the US is held in August, but the social media goliath has made its own global vision dubbed Friends Day. Now, the company celebrates the day annually on February 4, which is just a few days away.

Facebook uses these Friends Day videos to incite its users for ‘celebrating the importance of connecting.’ According to Mark Zuckerberg, Friendship isn’t a distraction from the valuable things in life. It is what that gives a value to our lives. Although Facebook is an integral part of the journey to connect the world, it wants to celebrate what’s at the root of this journey, i.e. friendship.
